2003 Corolla S Piece of CRAP

I drove a 2003 Corolla S while my turbo was getting tuned, and what apiece of crap they are. How can they get off calling it a "S" model with an automatic and only 130 hp? These things definately need turbo.

lol what the fck u talking about? Corolla S are pretty nice cars for its price. my sis has a 04 S and its really nice. Why they call it a S? because of factory bodykits they have on make them look badass haah. It aint slow.. trust me, either u a speedfanatic or just plain dont know how to drive a good car. by the way nice eclipse u got there in your sig.

toyota should be rolling out thier corolla xrs soon... I was looking at the S stats and they are weaker than I thought they were going to be. The XRS should have 180hp vvt-il 22ze engine found in the matrix and the lotus elise. It will also have the 6spd manual transmission.
It should be a sweet ride.

i have a corolla S and yes it may not be the fastest 4 banger on the market. but it all depends on what you are looking for in car. i was looking for a car that had good gas mil, dependable,good resale,looks and price. with that in mind lets see. a neon or focus does not a good resale and are not dependable i.e. bad quality.
ok so that only leaves 3 items left. what you have left is civic corolla and that's about it. the civic does get great gas mileage but they are pricey and i think the corolla looks much better this yr. i see you have eclipse turboterror nice fasat car. BUT i don't think it gets good gas mileage. now if i wanted some that was a fast i surely wouln'd get an eclipse.

well you also forget about the lancer ES and gallant those are cheap reliable cars as well. Amazingly the focus has good quality.... suprised for it is a ford I think volvo had something to do with the developement of this car... The corolla S is just the base model with bsaicaly a body kit and spoiler. The down side to it is there isnt much for that engine to tune right now I dont think....
