Error Code "40" showing on ATC?

Hi all I have finally got the error I have been waiting for and it comes up with code "40", can anyone tell me what his code means or lead me in the direction of where I can find it. I have a 96 jgcl with the ATC unit. This error has been coming around fo ra bit and I finally got it so let me now please.

Mind you I don't get the heat I used to get from the jeep last winter and now I recharge the a/c and it is not as cool as it used to be, any ideas guys n gals?
