92 Jetta Starting Probs cont.
As stated in an earlier post, my 92 Jetta will crank but will not start. This is related to a short I caused when installing a new stereo. Apparently I touched the orange hot wire and the ground. When I did the door buzzer stopped and now the car will crank but will not fire and the orange hot lead for the radio is dead.
The car will start and runs fine if roll started but will not fire when I turn the key. I have checked all of the fuses and none are burnt. I belive there must be a relay or something similar fried. Any suggestions on how to trace and fix this problem would be appreciated. |
