Which engine? JDM/USDM?

I wanna get a really cheap 88 CRX HF, its a carburated engine, so does that mean I can't swap a ZC or B16/B18 into it? if so, how to go? cheap is the key word. I know nothing about B or D series engines or ZCs for that matter, I've never had a need to

The 88 HF's arent carburated. 88-91 was fuel injected. If you are talking about carb then the 84-87 i believe was carb. So which car are u talking about? Either way, you will be able to swap a ZC/B16/B18 into it whether it's a 84-87 or a 88-91.
