96 Grand Am Drive and Neutral Only

I have a 96 Grand Am. It stalled on me this morning. I got it started again but now it will only shift between Neutral and Drive. There have not been any signs of a bad transmission. No slipping or anything. All of this started right after it stalled. If anybody has any ideas they would all be greatly appreciated.

Will the shift lever move through all the gears, but it only catches on D or N??? Or is the shifter stuck only moving between the D and N?
