98 V6 Camaro vs. 210HP 96' Grand Cherokee

have any of you ever raced an old Grand Cherokee? My freind keeps bragging and he always has to be the best at everything so I severely want to own him, he's worked it from 185 HP to 210.

It's curb weight is 200 more than the V6, but apparently he has very short gears and his brother is a car whiz and says it'll give him the upper hand.. I just don't know. If I get myself a cheap intake system how much will it cost me, and will it be enough to beat him?

thanks for any help at all.

See it'd be easy to say that IF he had a Camaro, but he doesnt. So I say wait till you get a Z28 or so then smoke him.
