Angry Blew a tire, nightmare situation!!!!

I went to woodbury commons to go shopping on sun, and on my way back from there to Queens NY, I was crossing the tappan zee bridge, my rear wheel blew. being that i was on the bridge there was no emergency stop area.I had to go all the way to the right lane and drive at like 30 miles an hour, by the time there was an emergency stop are the tire was almost off the rim, the burned rubber smell was horrible, and it was close to 90 degrees outside!!!. but then theres more. The day before I got my brakes done in my shop, and left in a hurry, I forgot the tuner lug socket to take off my lugs. Damn!!! My heart dropped when i went to the spot where i keep my socketand it wasnt there. After about 2 and a half hours of waiting this couple with a neon broke down right there too. lucky for me they had a tool box, and lent me an extension and a ratchet to take of my lugs. I think there was something on that bridge cause as i was leaving 2 more cars were pulling in with flats.

I think this properly belongs in the "coffee break" area. No offense, but how does this contribute to the Honda Accord forum? You just blew a tire and didn't have the tools to change it, that's all.

Expansion joints. They like to pop in hot weather, and stick up and blow every tire that rolls over them. Sue the city. When hell freezes over, you might get something out of it.
