92 Golf wont start

Last week I drove the car to work and everything was fine. As I left work the car would not start and had to be jumped. All electrical items were working; windows, radio, etc. As soon as I turned the key it seemed to drain the power right out of the battery. 5 days later and there is still juice in the battery, but the car will not start. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i would check the battery connections, if is any rust or some of that withe stuff into the terminals. Usually that causes a bad contact that allows you to play thew radio and stuff, but won't crack, so cleaning this terminals would be the first thing i'd do. If still not working, you can take your battery to Autozone or Oreilly's for a free check, to see if the battery is charging properly.

I hope the terminals thing work out fine for you, most of the times is that.

Good Luck.
