So, I'm changing my girlfriend's oil this weekend, but I'm not sure how much oil it will take. It's a 96 EX....how much do you all normally fill it with?

Like any other 4cyl engine, it should take about 4 quarts to fill.

Yeah, thanks. I put 3 in mine and it filled it, and I looked at an old reciept of hers, and Chevron had put 3.5 in. But..... The drain plug started stripping (even with a socket) so I ended up not doing it
. I guess Chevron will just have to put another 3.5 in it, heh?

With the filter change, you put in 3.5 quarts..
Thats according to the Helms manual |
