1998 Bonneville with Tapping Noise
My 1998 Bonneville SE (3.8L, 207,000 miles) has a tapping noise from the rear (drivers side) of the motor. It seems to come from the top half of the motor and only under throttle. Doesn't do it at idle. I don't notice any real loss of power or gas mileage. No Check Engine Light. It hasn't been to a mechanic yet. Any thoughts as to what it might be?
