springs/suspension

back in febuary early march of this yr i spent about 700$ on what i thought was a complete set of shocks and new front struts. after 5 hours of waiting, yes 5 hours to install shocks and struts and to my surprise i noticed i only got a pr of! my springs are apparently not seated because when i turn the wheel the springs turn, and make a horrible clicking noise, and yes its the springs. if anyone in wichita ks ever thinks of going to bosleys tires to get suspension work done, do not. any suspension experts know what could be causing this or any ways to correct it with out spending another arm and a leg?

Well first off, neons don't have shocks they have struts. So if they told you, you needed shocks, they were out to rip you off from the get-go. Springs are pretty tricky to work with, but if you have an Autozone or someplace that will allow you to borrow (put a deposit down and get it back when you are finished) a spring compressor, you can work on your struts or replace your springs if needed. The springs probably aren't seated correctly. If you don't feel you can do the work yourself, Brake Check is who I use if I can't or don't feel like doing suspension work to my car.
