swapping 2.8 for 350hp 350 and auto tranny for T5

Hey

I am planning on swapping a 2.8 for a 350. And make it a 5 speed. I have an 89 firebird. Also I've got a 91 Camaro with a brand new 350 in it built to 350hp also a T-5 tranny with centerfore clutch and a Hurst shifter. My friend wrote off the car in an empty parking lot front end damage bent the frame, but the engine and tranny is still fine, actually had it running on jack stands.

I'm just wondering if it's possible to make that swap. I know the engine shouldn't be too much hassle but auto to 5 speed might be a challange.

What would I have to change exactly for the entire swap.
Oh yeah the 350 is carburated.

Thanks alot
Thomas

engine mounts for sure.. there should be kits you can buy for sbc engine mount conversions.. and youll need to make the whole clutch set-up for your standard.. may want to beef up your gears a bit to with the power difference from a 2.8 to a 350
