Hi everyone. Im thinking about buying a used 98 eclipse. The car has 10,000 miles on its new engine and is loaded with mods. (Full 6-bolt motor swap w/JE pistons, Eagle rods, ARP everything, Balance shafts removed, RalliART Head Gasket, Crower springs and retainers, and HKS 264/272 cams. Also has Injen intake, Greddy Upper and Lower polished IC piping, Greddy 24 FMIC, Walbro 255, 580CC Inj., Evo III 16G, Greddy Type S BOV, Magnacor Wires,DNP custom SS tubular manifold and o2 housing, Apexi N1 Downpipe, Greddy Evo Exhaust, NX N-tercooler kit, Moroso Box, T-bolt clamps, Ralliart catch can, Hose Techniques silicon hosing, Greddy profec-b II, DSMLINK V2, Prothane full mount kit, Greddy turbo timer, tial 38mm WG, polished valve cover,3 guage pillar pod(EGT, air/fuel, and Boost), custom AFC and Profec locations, B&M short shifter, syborski shift kit, Greddy weighted shift knob, and ACT 2100lb clutch) $12,000 of Mods. The seller is asking currently asking $13,000 for the car. The blue book value for the car without mods is only around $7,000. Is this a good deal? Or can I negotiate the price (by how much)?
