On a side note, I know that road they were racing on.

That's Pacific Coast Highway heading northbound heading into Newport Beach.

Lots of money there... lots of it.

Sad stuff.

Ah yes...I was so strung out that I completely missed the video...yeah...that whole Newport beach/laguna beach/laguna niguel area is a breeding ground for people with more car than brains...back OT...MAN that carrera GT sounded delicious.
Edit: What kinda car was the camera car?

I've seen one in person, well he was going the other way on the freeway. But you couldn't miss it... it was bright bright yellow!

this chain of events truly saddens me. i didn't know ben personally, but from reading his posts on various car forums i appreciate what he brought to the community. ben seemed like he was a truly sincere and genuine guy.
