seat covers and side airbags

i was going to put seat covers on my car, but i just noticed a airbag logo on the side of my seat. i know i have side impact air bags, but i thought they were in the center beam between the front and rear doors. there's a airbag decal there too. are there airbags in my seats? the box of the seat covers say if there are airbags in the seat, it can cause injury. not that i plan on getting into a accident.

soo how bad of a injury? what happens?

if i put them on i have to make cuts around levers to get them on so i want to see what im getting myself into before i cut them. cause if i dont use them then i can just sell them on ebay or give them to a friend
