Carbon Fiber hood for P10

We need 10 people who have p10 who want a carbon fiber hood.
It will cost $400 plus shipping and then they will start making it. So they said to start a group buy for P10 and then tell make the hoods, yet we need 10 people who want this carbon fiber hood.

Hey can some of us P11 guys piggy back off that deal!!! We have at least 3 maybe 4 P11 (if Henry hasn't bought his yet). Maybe 5 if Brian (b-boogie) wants one too. $400 is a shweet deal!

I was going to ask the same thing of all the P10 owners. I'm definitely in. Stupid FiberImages said they were in the process of making them a LONG time ago. BTW, they already offer the hood for the P11.

Yeah I know there's a P11 hood, but they want like $550 for it. I'm asking if we can get in on that sweet, sweet $400 price.

newbie here,

i too need some time to get the money but definitely interested. G-forces, is there anyway you get stuff from the states without paying customs? when i got my clutch from jwt, i got charged (not by jwt) gst, pst and customs so it reached almost $400 for just the pressure plate.
TIA

Not legally. What you can try and do is have the shop mark down the price on the invoice a bit. But not too much or customs might get suspicious. You can declare the parts as used then there is no duty or tax, but UPS won't deliver used parts across the boarder. You can try to have the shop declare the part is a warrenty replacment. There's different things to try but generally you'll have to pay up. I know it sucks!

somehow when I got the eyelids from NFS (the wrong ones, still waiting on the correct ones...) I didnt get charged anything by customs.. although every other thing I've ordered abroad has been slapped w/ a heft tax.

i'm waiting to see if the dual headlights i just ordered for my car will come in scott free..

btw jason, on the hood... it depends on if i decide to paint my car a whole new color or not. i'll know shortly when i get my bonus check from work, somewhere near the end of the month...

You know you can even paint the CF hood. It does more than just look cool, it saves about 20lbs.

Luke I've had a chance to get them at $400+shipping, I'll get that price again or I'll be damed! :silly2:

I think SERCA members get $100 off or something like that. $400 or bust!

I'm interested in a CF hood, but do you suppose they could make one with a scoop built in? I think it would look cool to get an offset scoop towards the drivers side so maybe we could do something with Ram-Air?
