Civic Hood Dampers Struts Shocks

Hello,
You guys are awsome at helping out.
I just got a new black widow hood, only thing is that there is not spot for the stock hood holder upper thing.
I was looking for a damper kit so the hood will be held up by struts on each side where the hood bolts to the hinge.
Anyone have any infor for this?
Thanks

lol, the hood isn't my thing, but do you.

As for a DIY type deal, I'll look into it and see what I can find. The only thing I can really think of is using the struts from a hatch or the springed hinges from older cars and finding a way to mount either.

alfonso2501, those are trash for fiberglass hoods.
I went on EBay and got the "Tein" set.
Man its 130.00 but they are like great.
so once again for everyone
Hood Dampers = TEIN from ebay

I’m still thinking about getting a set of hood struts, thing is I’m saving up for a Lo-Jack system now so anything else is put on hold. Which do you think is better for a stock hood,, the redline or TEIN kit?

I would not buy anything but TEIN , these things bolt on without any drilling cutting.
