fuel filter help
I have a '84 s10 blazer. I was in the process of trying to change my fuel filter. Disconnected fuel lines, etc. My Haynes manual said that there is a clamp holding the filter on, but there wasn't one. It was a cylinder that looked like you could unscrew it or pull it apart at the middle, however I didn't have any luck with that. the side of the cylinder that does not connect to the gas lines bolts directly into the bottom of the engine block,(drivers side). I thought it might be the fuel pump, but I cannot find the fuel filter anywhere else, (it was where the manual said it would be, but I cannot get it apart to see if the fuel filter is inside...
any suggestions?? |

Re: fuel filter help
The fuel filtre should be inside of the driver's side frame.
