Question custom engineering

Hello to all,
I have a few 1980s 2 door vehicles; caprice & cutlass. I want to transform into automatic convertables....not just chop off the top and drive topless 100%. Is there anyway I could possibly use parts off another car(s) to modify these particular vehicle(s) to obtain an automatic (motorized) not manual convertable without the expense of a shop charging me thousands of $$$$? I also understand that I will need to reinforce the body and frame to prevent warping and twisting from occurring. If needed send info via email to [email protected]
