'92 Maxima SE Smelled gas this morning
I had the sunroof open this morning. When I went past a gas station, I thought it was from that. After about 2 miles away and no cars in front, the smell of gasoline was still in the air. I closed the sunroof and the smell was not as strong. Opened it again, and it was back and strong.
I get to work, open the hood to see if there was anything not right and also smell around...nothing. Could I have a leak in the fuel pump at the rear of the car? The gas cap was tight and no leaks under the car. Anything I should look for?
