70 boss 351 vs 89 camaro

well my next door neighbor has a 70 boss with a 351, well the outside looks nice but i when he takes off i can't hear the motor he won't let me look under the hood and there's no badges on the car i don't know if it's a sleeper , well my question is how much hp does a boss 351 and how bad would i get rapped in my camaro?

boss 351's had a bunch of hp. thats all i know lol. i believe somewhere close to 400? like 375?

Boss 351s were first made in '71, not '70. I'm not sure if you're IDing the year wrong or if its an imitiation - I know several guys who put the 351c(the motor in the Boss 351) in their '70s and badge it a Boss 351. If it is a 351c and they guy actually knows what he's doing with the motor, it should be very very fast. 400rwhp is not difficult, 500 is still streetable, and put a blower/nitrous on it.. you get the idea.
However, if he doesn't really know the motor, its likely its not very fast. The motors are very picky.. not forgiving for any mismatches.

Well i raced my neighbor twice and the first time i took him by a car length and the second time was by half a car length, he kept saying he screwed up on the launch but i told him that's what they all say
