Rental Cars Suck

Picked up my rental while the G is in the shop.... a Sunfire... ICCKKKK this thing sucks it only has 10k miles on it and it rattles, squeals and drives like a stuck pig. Really this is even worse than my old old car an 89 buick it has no power, no balls, no handling, no nothing... I guess I got spoiled with my G :-P

As for the shop though they were pissed this morning when I told them I wanted the old rear bumper cover, I wouldn't have thought anything of it but on the sheet it asked if I wanted to keep the parts, I marked yes and they tried to talk me out of it... The rear bumper cover acutally only has some very light marks where the guys front plate scraped it, hardly noticable actually.... But I figure this 1. if I keep the parts they HAVE to use new ones. 2. If I ever do something STUPID like back into the garage or someone tears it up I've got a spare ready to go..... The guy looked at me like I was nuts but oh well it was on their checklist lol..... I'll be outta town the next week and a half... I hope my baby will be ok.....

Yeah i think it's a good idea to keep the parts. You never know when you may need the part or you may be able to sell it off later at a good price.

I was talking to a mate who works at a repair shop and he was telling me how this shop was changing springs in late model cars for people who wanted to lower etc .
Then they would clean them up, paint them and sell them off as new ones.
