early 626 help

Ok, a few questions regarding the sound system.

it's a 1982 626.

it has the radio only (not the cassete / radio)


question 1: if i were to buy a new head unit, would i have to make or modify the facia plate to fit a normal 1din unit, or can i buy a ready done one.

question 2: where are the front speakers?, i think they're up inside the dash, but i dont want to pull apart the dash just to find them.
