first bubbleback
im new to 5th gens i always owned 4th gen civics n crxs...now i got me a buble back n dident realize how heavy they were...got my work cut out for me...so far projector lights, clear corners, 15'' gsr rims coilover suspension, intake header apexi exhaust, light flywheel n extedy clutch....im goin carbom fiber hood n trunk but where else can i cut weight from other then interior? no rear seats carpet was taken up...

they are heavier than the 4th gens probably but you're making it seem like it's a lot heavier. 5th gens are probably only about 100-150lbs heavier which yes is heavier but nothing to worry about too much. How to make it lighter hmm... I usually wouldn't do stuff to lighten up the car A LOT, but I would do some things such as simple stuff you are doing(carbon fiber, seats,etc.).

well i used to have a gutted hatchie n 3 rex's...they were light...and does anyone know a site like 4thgenerationcivic that deals wit 5th gen such as comparisons n specs between engines weight n usual swaps?

I know on
autotrader it has the specs on stock models (weight/hp/torque,etc) and other than that i found stuff by searching the forums. |
