NASCAR Update!!! Boardman Track Complex moving forward

Great News!!!

I heard today that the track in Boardman Oregon is going forward smoothly. The rep. stated on the radio that the project might break ground as soon as Aug. and be completed by 2007. The plan was to start with one event per year and eventually have 2. In the interim there will be lots of other events: World of Outlaws, NHRA Drags, etc. They said they plan to build a drag strip, Oval, road coarse, and a sprint car track, possible more. Something like 50,000 parking spaces, RV parking, Hotel, the freaking works. They estimate 200,000 visitors to the NASCAR event alone!!! WOW!
