whattup y'all,
My car got stolen about a month and a half ago and was stripped down.

Anyway, I got the car back and it is bone stock again (6th gen DX coupe) At least it's a clean slate right?

OK, about the tach, I had a VDO performance tach without the shift light installed before the theft, and of course it's gone, but I'm pretty sure they left all the wiring intact, and just too the tach.

I just ordered the VDO Performance tach with shift light and was wondering if I can just hook it up to the old wires. Would I need different connection because of the shift light? I'm pretty sure I'll be cool, but just wanted to know if anybody has more info for me.

it should be the same because the light hooks up the tach with a wire that comes from the tachometer itself. then the wires should be the same.
