what needs to be done to put a 5.0
what needs to be done to put a 5.0l engine from a 1987 tbird in to a 1985 mustang for drag racing ? the 5.0 is multiprot injected and the 3.8 L V-6 was throtle body can I find a wiring diagram some place to do this change? Thanks

Both are Fox chassis........so it's going to be almost a direct swap over. The harness in a 87 T-bird is close to a 87 mustang. You might just be able to just transfer all the parts over. The sheetmetal is really the only difference between those T-birds and the mustangs.

step 1: remove engine from thunderbird.
step 2: remove and discard engine from mustang. step 3: install thunderbird engine in mustang.
