Sequential Gearbox

If someone had like a 2nd or 3rd 240. Would they buy GReddy's Sequential 6-Speed gear Box? it was 12800. I dont think they sell it anymore. Man i would downshift it like a bitch if it wouldnt be so expensive but I cuold have crazy fun with it. Talk about never misshifting and the shifts would be sooo quick and snappy.

learn to shift LOL, a 240sx can shift pretty fast through 1-2-3-4 if you got the balls compared to some of the other 5 speeds on the road

plus shifting through the gears is half the fun of it for me....

for a lot less get an automatic with a big ass tranny cooler w/ fan, high stall torque converter, a manual valve body, and a ratheching console shifter. Include high performance clutches, steels, and bands and goto town. You can make it shift into the next gear or downshift instantly almost. Plus with a higher stall torque converter and a powerbraking technique you can launch pretty damn hard if you have traction and a turbo.

thats just my 2 cents on sequential trannies on anything less then a 100k race car to warrant the price. Thats not a tranny you buy when its just all the money you saved up and can finally buy one... thats the kind of thing you need if you could buy 5 of them today and not worry about it LOL..... true racing is expensive as shit

exactly, thats something for when you can take like 5grand and flush it down a toilet, lol

for alot less beefing up a regular automatic would do the job well, especially if you want to drive the car on the streets

yea i mean that tranny alone is worth like 6 s13's. Isnt that for like hard core circuit racing?? Yea it would be cool to have but shit 12 g's. Better wait for inheretance or the powerball...which is up to 180 million i think. Im going to win and buy us all one.

Oh man....I wuold just love to have a Sequential. not saying good Ole Clutch isnt fun or nothing.

i think they are more suited to cars like the M5 and special DTM Benzes. It seems kinda out of place on a 240, but i do love the tech of it.
