Nice pics Jeff. Must have been great just talking to people and taking a few pictures and best of all getting paid to do so.

Re: Photos from SEMA in AC

Yeah it was a good time ... I am hoping I made some opportunities happen (we'll see).

... and it is always nice to get paid for this kind of a thing. I also got in free, got reimbursed for gas/tolls/parking and SEMA gave the press free sodas and snacks.

I am a broke-ass so it was much appreciated. I would never have been able to go otherwise.

Re: Photos from SEMA in AC

That was mentioned in another thread ... I was using the newspaper equipment and I was instructed not to take photos of the women.

yeah I know, It sucks too cause the way I see it SEMA is an experience and should be reported to the public as it is. we should be able to pick up a newspaper or see a coverage report where we see the cars, the girls, the VIPs, the products and the entertainment as it is shown in SEMA.
I wassnt complaining though. I do like the pics you took though, your a good photographer.

Re: Photos from SEMA in AC

Thanks ... I am actually not that excited with my photos, but only so much can be done in that environment.

As for what the newspaper is reporting, the section I work on is called "DriveTime" and we are covering the automotive aspect of the event. My editors are interested in the new products and cars.

.... now if the coverage were in the LifeStyle section, then we could see about those women

i spoke to the guy at that booth. The 2nd wing is FUNCTIONAL. The bottom wing directs air into the engine compartment and the top is used for downforce. It self adjusts according to speed. That engine was monster, it had 2 intercoolers on either side of the engine compartment above the wheel wells.
