Color Code Problem

I've Got a 1973 Impala that has some spots that need to be painted. I have had a terrible time trying to find the color code for my particular shade of green. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The model I have has the gas tank lid behind the license plate, and there isn't any paint on it.

I think the general idea would be looking around door jams, or somewhere on the car that would have been painted, but not exposed to the elements.
