I bought my turbo kit.

It's a Turbonetics T-66 turbo for my 2000 Si. I get a hook up so i got the whole setup for $1600. I will be using a HKS intercooler and a Blitz BOV. What's do you guys think?

Cool man and congrats. I'm saving up for my turbo too but why the hell did you buy such a big turbo?! Not bashing or anything man but I want to see what your perspective on it. I mean, you have such a big turbo that it'll probably take a long ass time to spool up and it'll put out more power than your car will be able to handle, so where are the benefits?!

Again man, I'm not bashing cuz I'm going to be boostin within the next couple of months and I'm happy for you but you should've bought something a lot smaller like a t3/t4 hybrid or t4 as the max.

Anyway, congrats again man and good luck.

LOL. Well like i said i got the whole setup for $1600. I thought it was a good deal. The benifits of it will be i will be able to get alot more power out of it than a T3/T4. After i do ALL internals, i plan on running around 12-14 PSI of boost to start(this motor will be FULLY BUILT) and then from there keep adding up after more mods to the motor. im not running nos on the motor at all whatsoever so i know that will help keep the motor in shape.

Cool man. I still don't see the benefits of buying a t66 on a stock motor and being a daily driver and everything....

But that's quite alright...congrats again

goddamn thats big! i woulda got it too if it was only $1600 though, but still! i would prefer a t4 or less on my daily driver simply cuz the better throttle response. but yes u will be able to get a LOT of power from that if your engine is built correctly.
