Well the article didn't say that they're dropping Buick... yet. I was annoyed when they killed off Oldsmobile, but quite honestly Oldsmobile=Buick since the 1970's. Since that time the only unique car that Oldsmobile had was the Aurora, and the only one that Buick had was the Reatta. At least Bob Lutz has the insight to realize that they've damaged the reputation of Buick and Pontiac by UNDERINVESTING in new products. I mean seriously, what did they expect to happen when they scaled back those budgets?? I think that Buick happens to make a damn fine car. I had a '93 Park Avenue for 5 years, and the only major problems I had were a water pump, alternator, and the transmission. When that one got killed in an accident, I picked up a '94 LeSabre to replace it.
