I'm going through the same thing, except switching from a 1997 Saab 900 SE Turbo. It drives great - fast enough for me and handles like a dream with some upgrades. Expensive as hell to repair though, and in the shop all the time.
I'm looking at 98-00 Accord V6's, but have heard quite a bit about transmission problems. Also, I'm staying away from the Acura's, because I've heard too many bad things on review sites and consumer review about electrical problems... do any of those two things have any merit?
Any of you have any problems with the cars? Are they fairly cheap to maintain? Thanks for any advice.
I'm also looing at a 97-98 Lexus ES 300. Thsoe seem to be hte most reliable out there, but ugly and expensive (and I want a real double din stereo opening :P).
