Can anyone tell me where on the Mountaineer where I can find the door lock codes?

Those codes should be on a sticker on the computer located just forward of the left rear compartment where the (I think) jack is.

How about for a 2002? I can't find the box, it is not the same location as 2001 and prior I don't believe.

Easiest thing to do is phone the dealership parts department and ask them where your computer is located. They should know.

Thanks Doug,
Actually the easiest thing was to pull the panel off right behind the rear passenger door and read it off the module. I found it in another thread. Took me about 4 minutes and probably saved me money and would have taken longer on the phone with the dealer. If anyone else is reading this, it is simple. Here are the instructions I found: http://s88853021.onlinehome.us/explorer/keypadcode.html |
