Mk 4 Espace burst fueltank

I have just bought a newshape Grand Espace 2.2 DCI. What a load of rubbish they are compared to my old MK3. The build quality is terrible, too much thin plastic everywhere including the body, the wheel arch guards don't fit properly. The brakes & discs don't last the distance and the latest problem in my 2 months of owning it - I was filling it up at the petrol station and before the pump clicked off the fuel tank burst and dumped gallons of diesel all over the forecourt. Well done Renault on taking a backwards step in vehicle construction. How can this possibly be the safest car in it's class with a bursting fuel tank.

Has anyone else come across this one happening?
