Indeed you did!
You seem to have a very diverse knowledge base of the Chevrolet Cavalier. Based on your knowledge and experience, which engine would you say is the best one that has been offered since the Cavalier's introduction and why?

The 2.0 Turbo is my controversial pick for "best." But, then again, I owned a 1992 Z24 and you just can't be that raw 180+ lb/ft of pushrod torque. That, and the exhaust note was just so much better on the 2nd gen 2nd phase Z's compared to what they produced from 95-02 in the Twin Cam and modern eco's.

Good call on the 3.1-liter pushrod. I loved the exhaust note also, it was so distinct and sounded pretty mean. The newer Ecotec's don't put out a very thrilling exhaust note at all. What do you currently drive?

1997 Z24. I do miss the low end power of my 92, but on the top end it pulls like a son of a bitch.

I know what you mean. I had a '98 Z24 which I adored. What kind of mods do you have done to yours?
