Thumbs up Powe connection question

Hello everyone, I need help...
I am trying to connect an accessory to my 97 Honda Accord EX. The instructions call for one of the wires (a yellow one with a fuse) to be connected to a constant power source/battery, and the other wire (a red one) calls for it to be connected to something that is powered during ignition or accessory mode...does anyone have any idea what wires I can tap into to get power? It can either be under the hood, fuse box, or any other cable/wire. Any help would be great.

Thank You in advance.

Stefan

Re: Powe connection question

well, the constant power source would be your battery so just get a o-ring connector and stick it on your battery post. As for the switched connection anything that comes on when you turn the ignition will work. I'd probably wire it inline with the cigarette lighter/12 volt outlet, which ever you have.

Re: Powe connection question

If it is not much of a current need I would go with the 12 volt outlet/cigarette lighter.

Very simple.
