|
What brake pads to get?
I think my brake pads have worn down in my CRX Si. Which pads should I replace them with? I don't want them to be too expensive. I might just take it out for auto-x once or twice, so I'd like a little better than stock.

Get metal masters... (Axxis, Beck Arnley, whatever)... semi-metalic. Replace the rotors at the same time with new. They're cheap enough to just replace instead of doing the re-surfacing. Plus, if you do both at the same time... no screeching...

i would say either axxis metal master or hawk blue or hawk hp+.

EBC or hawk, don't get "racing" pads for street use.
Rotors - Brembo blanks If you don't choose to replace the rotors, make sure to have your rotors machined. Otherwise your pads will wear quickly, not to mention brake vibrations and pulsations.

Rotors - Brembo blanks I personally have had problems with the ebc greenstuff brakes. Hawk are great as well as Metal Masters.
