Auto or stick?

My dad is looking to buy a TT supra. (93.5-98). He wants to know if auto is faster. He figures that auto would be faster because it never falls out of boost. He wants stick, but he says if auto is enough faster he will get an auto...He is looking to spend about 30-35 grand. He can get a bone stock one for that right? He isn't going to mod it or anything. He is selling off all his old classic cars. Now he wants fast instead of slow...Er...Cool...

Automatics are inefficient and cost power. Compare some performance numbers for the same car with and without an automatic. Manuals are always faster.

sounds like a mid life crisis to me but ya a stick is faster and you get more tourqe out of a stick so as i always say keep the human involved buy a stick
