vR4 Engine rebuild in the Phoenix AZ area.

Hello fellow 3000 GT owners, this is my first post and I can really use your help. I have a 1991 VR4. It started with my water pump going out and led to an engine rebuild. I have had the heads rebuilt. Afterwards it only made sense to complete the rebuild of the engine.

At first some friends and I were going to pull the engine and one of the guys has a relationship with a machine shop that he says could handle the rebuild. Well that plan has changed and I'm asking for some feed back on shops in the Phoenix area that know this engine. At this time I'm not looking for heavy modification just a solid rebuild.

I thank you for your help.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
