96 Chevy Corisca/Disabling Child Locks

Anyone have any idea how to disable the annoying child locks on a 96 Chevy Corsica? I couldn't find anything in the manual..
It's becoming more urgent now since the lock on the driver's side is broken...and I have to enter through the passenger side..I want to be able to leave the door open and not be embarrassed by having to open up the passenger side door first all of the time to unlock it

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated..
