I have an 88 Cherokee where there is a vacuum hissing noise coming from behind the booster inside the truck. Do I have to replace the booster, or is there a way to repair it?

Re: 88 Cherokee Brake booster
The booster itself is not servicable, and must be replaced as a unit. However, are you sure its the booster and not a vacuum line in the dash (for the ventilation controls?)
