Man sounds like fun..I wish I could come you guys, but even if I was invited, it's just not financially in the cards for me to drive that far this year...

Ok, if you are seriously working to make this a 4th of july thing....

Then you have givin' me a quest.... I now must sell enough loans per month to get my car the way I want it in 3 months.

I already made 1,000$ in my first 2 weeks... so at this rate I think i can do it. I just gotta find the time to actually work on the damn thing. 4th of july is so close though... but i really want to meet everyone....

I like the July idea, I can probably take some holidays then, and I dont have a show that weekend here.....I'll R.S.V.P. pretty soon here....Im gonna try to convince the boss (JohnnyM)to give me some damn holidays.

no...what you really need to do is convince johnnym to follow you down here. get a set of 2 way radios, that makes the drive much more fun

Ive got some radios, But his wife got all pregnant....so I doubt he'll be able to attend...Im gonna check with a few of the local 4G guys to see if they want to treck down there.

man i'm kinda bummed. I've never really went on a trip to do something fun like that.. are you guys gonna have one next year? Cause I could seriously make it next year..and my car would be alittle more up to par by then to.

Is this still going on ??
What show's will we be attending ?

Also, you dont happen to have any engine's lieing around your house, or shop do you ???

I'll be driving there with my old engine.. Spent a little to much money on other shit, so the B16 will have to wait untill winter.

if you guys show up or not, we'll still be doing the july 2nd thing. we have enlisted the help of a good buddy to help pull it all off. we have judges already lined up and i plan to look into trophies sometime this week. if all the 4g's say they can't make it til aug, you might want to wait, so you can meet these creepy people (l0l). or come to both

at the current moment i think i only have a couple of d series, and i'm sure they'll need to be rebuilt. you never know what i'll come up on in the next month or so. i'll keep an eye out and see what jumps in my way.

...or we could build up one of the a6's laying around and keep yours for core

I dont think Aug. will work for me. I'm going back to school in Sept. So i'll be taking it easy that month.

As for my engine, it would be a great core. The only thing wrong with it, is the piston rings are shot, and the tranny's 3rd gear syncro is gone.

What kind of price tag would we be looking at for a a6 12psi ready engine????

i have a better idea, you guys should drive over here to the east coast Ya know its so much better here lol.

I really wanna come but living in northern VA leaves me like a 30 hour drive lol. Maybe ill make it out there some year. Ill probably take a plane though lol I dont like the thought of a long ass drive. I dont even like driving for 10 mins to the store.

Im only going to the AUG meet. Got turbo tuning to do in July. $$$ right now wont allow it for both trips.
