Tire pressure light on

My tire pressure light came on last night. I checked the pressure in each tire, and it seems to be fine. The front tires were at about 28 psi and the backs at 35 psi. All 4 tires are pretty new--less than 6 months.

I can hear what I can best describe as a scraping noise when I drive with the windows down.

Out of curiousity why do have 28 psi in the front and 35 psi in the rear? Try balancing the air to the same psi on all four tires because the low tire inflation monitor system calibrates with properly inflated tires and compares all four tires. Just reset low tire, let it recalibrate and see if the light comes up again.

Are you running the stock tires and wheels?

However, the light should not kick in until the pressure in one tire becomes approximately 12 psi lower than the other 3 tires.
