Yeah, all of the Underoath, AILD, Silverstein, Unearth stuff rocks and all.
Aside from the popular core, im a scene kid myself. Having been brought up in the 423 scene, we have become somewhat infamous around here. TN and NC are the greatest spots for local bands. Across5Aprils, Rifles at Recess, The Showdown, WithFaithorFlames...all of these are/were great bands. BTW...Psyopus and Between the Buried and Me= teh greatest ever.

How about Origin? Now that is some awesome shit. Their drummer is so frickin fast!!! Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Hatebreed, Lamb Of God, Gwar, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Avenged Sevenfold, All That Remains, 3 Inches Of Blood, Slipknot, and Arch Enemy are just a few of the awesome bands I listen to. They might all be in different genres of metal, but they all have one thing in common:

yeah,Origin is so killer.Their latest Album Echoes of Decimation is fucking awesome,the only bad thing is that almost al the songs sound the same,but cool album nonetheless.I have a vid of an origin gig,you only see the drummer(which is cool,because i love drums) and he fuckin tears the kit apart.
Listening to the new Despised Icon album,anyone heard of them?
