Dumb question, but hey, im learning
How exactly would I go about draining/bleeding my oil and coolant...I need to know for when I put in my turbo. Engine work is easy to me when I have a faq...vfaq.com is the best, but theres nothing on there about draining/bleeding oil and coolant....Also about how many quarts of oil should I put in, or how high should it be on my dipstick? Can too much oil be bad?

Coolent: There's alittle knob at the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side. Its a valve. Turn it and the coolent will shoot out the little exit right below it.
Oil: On the oil pan is a bolt (I think 14mm). Take it off and let it drain. Dont forget to change the oil filter too. Twist off and install new one. I think the car takes 4 quarts. (?)

a little over 4 quarts. make sure you fill up the filter before you install the new one so that your engine doesn't run dry when you start it up. i believe it takes 4.5 after filling up the filter and topping off the motor.

Fun fact, the oil capacity for the 4g63 is 4.63 quarts
 Hard one to forget. Also, the pip cock to drain the radiator is plastic and chinsey, you may be able to take it off with your fingers. Easy to break. Some people say engine oil is better to do when the car is hot, since you'll extract more of the goopy old oil before filling back up. Also, when installing the new filter, do as gthompson said, but also take a drop of new engine oil and lightly coat the rubber seal on the new oil filter. When you do your oil next time, you'll thank yourself. Lastly, go buy Haynes and Chiltons manuals.

Damn. I didnt know you had to fill up the filter 1st. Never did that on any of the cars that I changed. Ooops
