Factory Exhaust Manifold

Anyone have any tips on how to get the factory exhaust manifolds off of a 66 galaxie with the 352? It doesnt look like they've ever been removed and I was wondering if there is any way to avoid breaking the bolts off. Thanks for any input.

Nick

Re: Factory Exhaust Manifold

When I took mine off my '68 390 I don't think they were ever removed before either. I just used alot of WD-40 and let it seep in for a day or so and none of them broke. It also might be helpful to run the engine if you can to heat the bolts up so they will come out easier or use a torch or something like that to heat them up a little. Also if you do this keep in mind WD-40 is flamable.
