I plan on getting a 95 240sx and some of my plans is to get a s15 conversion and either do a RB20DEt or RB25DET swap. I need some help on getting some links to where I can find rb20 and rb25. I want to know what the average price is for both engines and howmuch it would cost to do the installation?

if you go w/ the rb25 your looking at spending at least 5 or 6k

The RB20 is about the most worthless swap you can do on an S14.

The RB25 is a great platform to start with but you will be spending around 5K

what I've found
2,500$ RB25 Motorset (shipped, wiring, tranny, ECU, ect)
1,100$ Mckinney Engine / Tranny Mounts and Drive shaft
300ish$ Wiring Service (you could hackass it but...)
1,300$ Good FMIC w/ Custom Piping
300$ Down Pipe

5,500$ Give or take for Misc Tuneup goodies and other junk.


Phase2motortrend has RB clips coming for 3300+ but they can be found for around 2500ish

your best best is to get the clip though. and RW that was 5500 if you were doing all the work yourself am i correct? and expect to run into problems and having to spend more then you originally plan because who knows how good of shape the engine is in and who knows how good the clutch is. i had to get a new clutch immediatly w/ my sr.
