KA SR tranny

ok im sure its been asked but im bringing it up again. does a ka bolt up to a SR tranny? or visa versa?

I think the insides are the same, but the bellhousing is slightly different.

it works. you need to switch out the bellhousings.

but then youll run into the same problem i have. there are 3 sensors/switches on a ka24e tranny... and 2 on and sr20 tranny. if you can help me out in figuring out what 2 sensors need to be used on the sr20 tranny, that would be awesome.

The internals are basically the same exact thing. The only thing you need to do is to swap bellhousings. You only need to use 2 out of the 3 sensors to hook it up, but I'm not sure which one.

well obviously there won't be any sr20 wiring diagrams in the US...

it'll probably come up faster using Yahoo Japan or something. (some sites have english... yes, it's the weirdest Jap->Eng translation... but they know their shit.. don't hate)

How does the bell housing come off? Is it just pressed on to where you heat it up and pop it off?
