Talking New to the forum check out my Chevelle specs

I am in process of restoring/ modifying my 1972 Chevelle Malibu. Currently, I have swaped out the tired factory 350 mouse for a 454 Rat with:
HEADS: New Canfield 310cc Alum. severe duty valves w/2.25" in./1.900" ex. 11/32 bronze guides Isky roller springs, titanium retainers, 10* Comp locks, VTO superseals, Comp Cam spring seat, bowl blending port matched w/ screw in ARP rocker studs and Comp Cam guide plates Competition seat and guide work on Serdi. CNC combustion chambers

CAM: New Howard’s Custom Solid Billet Roller .680" in /.680" ex lift duration at @ .050, 260 in 260 ex 108 Lc.

CARB: New Speed Demon 850 cfm w/ BG-6AN dual feed line

DISTRIBUTOR: New MSD Pro-Billet w/ Chrome hold-down

COIL: MSD Blaster high vibration 50,000 volt

CRANK: New 9000 Scat 5140 4.000" stroke

RODS: New Scat 4340 6.135" I Beam, they feature ARP moly bolts

BEARINGS: New Clevite 77

PISTONS: New Speed-Pro forged 10.25:1

Hooker Super Comp Headers

RINGS: New Speed-Pro Moly
AND MUCH MORE!

The new Tranny is a CHEVY TURBO 400 FULL COMPETITION TRANSMISSION w/ tranbrake and manual valve body

Because of the engine swap from Mouse to Rat and the amount of torque the 454 produces I got a stronger custom ground drive shaft

She has the complete Hotchkis suspention front and rear and a 12 bolt posi rear w/ 4:11 gears.

I am in process of dialing in the motor, but there is only one problem. After all that work, I can't "see what she can really do at the track until I drive it 300 to 500 miles and all the new parts in the engine have a chance to seat. IT'S KILLING ME, I WANT TO SMOKE THE TIRES SOOOO BAD! The interior needs some TLC and the body needs attention prior to paint, so I guess I'll attend to those things and keep driving around and around the beltway until she seats...Damn!
